GoblinTrove is a trading-card marketplace aggregator: we help buyers discover live card listings from independent sellers and link them out to buy directly from those sellers. This policy explains what we collect and why. By using GoblinTrove you agree to it.
What we collect
- Account details — your email address and a password (stored securely hashed by our authentication provider; we never see it in plain text).
- Seller details — if you apply to sell, your business name and website URL.
- Buyer activity — you don’t need an account to browse. When you click through to a seller we record which listing you clicked and when, plus a one-way hashed version of your IP address (used only to detect abuse — it can’t be reversed back to your IP).
- Cookies — essential cookies that keep you signed in. We don’t use advertising cookies.
How we use it
- To create and run your account and, for sellers, to review and manage your listings.
- To measure click-throughs so sellers can see the traffic we send them.
- To detect and prevent fraud and abuse.
- To operate, maintain, and improve the service.
We do not sell your personal information.
Who we share it with
We rely on trusted service providers to run GoblinTrove — including our hosting and database/authentication providers — who process data on our behalf. When you click through to a seller you leave GoblinTrove and land on the seller’s own website; from that point the seller’s privacy policy governs your purchase. We may disclose information where required by law.
Where your data is held
Your information may be stored and processed on servers located outside Australia. We take reasonable steps to ensure it’s handled securely wherever it’s processed.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal information at any time — including deleting your account. Email support@goblintrove.com and we’ll action it. If you’re covered by specific data-protection laws (such as the EU/UK GDPR), you may have additional rights, including to object to or restrict processing.
Security & retention
We use industry-standard measures to protect your information and keep it only as long as needed to provide the service and meet our legal obligations. No system is perfectly secure, but we work hard to keep yours safe.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes are reflected by the “last updated” date above.
